This girl is super LEGIT!!!
Super, super LEGIT chick. She lives right here in my city and she can sing, sing, sing. I was tipped off by a friend of mine that there was a girl in Winston-Salem that could sing (who also happened to be my friend on Facebook). I attempted to find her on Facebook and stumbled upon this young women named Dominique Vaness, but also goes by her street name Kris Melody. I've heard several of her videos that she has posted on Facebook and let's just say that you gotta hear it to believe it. She tried out for American Idol and received an arm band, granting her admittance to flex her skills for the judges. She has a strong fan base amongst her friends on Facebook. I believe that she has strong potential and will become successful if she continues to grow as an artist and keeps the dream alive. Good Luck Girl!! Check this talented young women out....
I suppose that you would have to be friends with her to hear her music... Well.... you figure it out lol
Check out my wicked friend Shawn

Super chill video from my friend Shawn. He plays guitar and posts metal covers of popular video game songs and other cool music. Check out his YouTube page and Soundcloud account. He rocks!!!! Some of the stuff that he posts, I can't believe. But you gotta hear it to believe it!

Wonderful Artists
These are upcoming artist... or rather, artist that I just got on/artists that people need to keep an eye on...
Jay Electronica
A truly promising lyricist that was recently signed to Jay-Z's "RocNation" recording label alongside J-Cole and Willow Smith. The absolutely remarkable thing about this guy is that he has no album or schduled release for an album of any sort, although he does have two official singles "Exhibit A" and "Exhibit A." I've really taken a shine to this rising southern rapper. Check his songs out on YouTube.
Songs to listen to: Exhibit A, Exhibit C, The Ghost of Christopher Wallace, Eternal Sunshine, Reniassance Man
J. Cole
Definitely one of my favorite new guys... Also he's a native North Carolinian, like yours truly. J.Cole has an energy that I don't hear too much in many of the uprising artists today. His style of rap can be simply defined by one word... raw. He has a unique talent for painting pictures with his lyrics. While listening to his music, I feel as though he's an artist that I can trust. He pours his emotions and true self into every track that I have heard by him. He's an artist to keep an eye on.
Songs to listen to: Lights Please, Can I live, Grown Simba, Too Deep For the Intro, Enchanted, (Too many too name)

| Adele |
I recently discovered this artist. She has had two studio albums thus far, so pardon my tardiness... All of my friends seem to know who she is, despite the fact that she is from England... so after hearing her name time and time again, I decided to listen to a few of her tunes. I have to say, her voice is amazing. It's unique. The uniqueness of her voice and singing is probably why she caught my eye. I haven't heard all her work yet, but I intend on listening to more of her material.
Songs to listen to: Rolling in the Deep, Hometown Glory
CyHi Da Prynce
This guy is something else. His entire mixtape titled "Royal Flush" is simply amazing, it sounds like an album, no lie. Listen to the whole thing straight through and you'll understand. His slang and pronuctiation of the lyrics make him an original artist. He has punchlines, metaphors, and various flows for days. He is signed to Kanye's label GOOD Music and appeared on Kanye's 5th studio album "My Beautiful Drak Twisted Fantasy." He has yet to drop an album and I must say that I am looking forward to his future projects.
Songs to listen to: Sideways, Living Wonderful, Hero, Can't Wait, Can't Find Love, Chance to Explain
